It was now night upon the Shannadoa terra. The snow had blanketed the ground with a few inches, and slowly faded away, leaving the moon and the stars alone in the sky.
The snow reflected the beautiful glow of the moon, making it sparkle. Kiara sat on the ledge, outside of her den. She had, once again, slipped out of the large, warm den, wanting to collect her thoughts.
She smiled to herself, watching the cascading waterfall nearby. It all seemed so peaceful. She took a deep breath of the freash air, glancing over to the east.
She could faintly see the entrance to the other den, where she had last seen all the others. Everything seemed quiet, so she turned, and slipped into her den.
She walked the back, a faint amount of moonlight seeping through the cracks in the rocks above her. One day, and she already had members in her pack, and quite alot of them too.
"Baron, Destiny, Nalo, Spirit, Claw, Sahara, Mekiki" she said all of their names to herself, looking up at the moon through the largest crack in the roof.

Mekiki laid in the back of the main den, with her head down on her paws.
'What an exciting day... I joined a clan, met a bunch of wolves, and swam in a magical lake...' she thought to herself. 'Hopefully I dont get myself outcasred.....again'

Baron's eyes danced as he watched the stars. One... two... He jumped up. A meteor shower! He followed Kiara's scent all the way back to her den where he barked happily when he saw her. "Kiara! Look! A meteor shower!" He shouted, almost bouncing with excitement. He was like a pup at this time... so playful, sweet, and innocent...
"You have to see this!" He said, nudging the smaller female.

Mekiki watched Baron run to Kiara, and sighed. She didnt bother to go watch, she just sat there, staring at a wall, which she had clawed to leave her mark.

Kiara blinked. "Meteor...shower?" she half-asked, standing up, and hurrying outside. Sure enough, there was one. The stars streaked through they sky, a beautiful sight. "Whoa..." she said

Not waiting for Kiara, Baron suddenly ran into Mekiki nearly toppling her over. "A meteor shower Mekiki!" He said, nudging her. "You have to see! And the moon..." His eyes sparkled. "You can see planets.."
Baron grinned, and pulled the female to her feet.

Baron came up a few feet away from Kiara and sighed happily, looking at the stars. "I remember a fragment of my past... no one has even bothered to ask about it. I remember Mother saying she fell in love with Father under the Moon and meteors... The next day she was pregnant and two months later, my sister and I were born on a full moon and meteor shower..." He said, blinking back happy tears.

Her eyes grew wide as Mekiki was pulled up. "Why do I need to see..." she pulled away from Baron and walked outside.

Kiara nodded, watching the meteors streak in the sky. She had witnessed many showers like this before, but she had always been alone....Well, almsot always. She sighed to herself, looking at the moon.

Turning back to Mekiki, Baron smiled. "Because you don't see meteor showers every day. It's been over one-hundred years since I last saw one..." He said, his eyes glazing over again. He directed his gaze to the ground and almost dropped his jaw at what he saw--
Lunar flowers decorating the land from where the threesome stood.

Mekiki blinked and looked down. "Wow its---its beautiful..." she pawed at one, and glitter seemed to rub off onto her paw.

Kiara looked at the flowers upon the land. This was truely a magnificent place. How lucky was she to have the oppertunity to become the alphess of the land. She smiled. "Its wonderful..." she said happily.

"I know..." Baron whispered, staring up at the sky, an idea forming in his head. "Hey... do any of you have an idea of what powers these stones have?"

Kiara didn't look away from the moon, registering Baron's words. "No, I don't, care to share?" she asked, allowing her gaze to shift off of the moon, and fix on Baron.

He smiled weakly, turning to meet Kiara's eyes. "They can revive the dead... and make excellent seasoning for boiled fish." He said, grinning. "You really should try some. I have fish in a pond back at the den. Want me to teach you how to fish?"

Kiara turned her gaze, trying avoid Baron's eyes. "Sure." she said. "I've always loved the taste of fish, but I've never been able to catch them myself." she looked at him breifly. "It would be nice to learn."

Inside, Baron was laughing. The alpha female, seemingly afraid to meet her guardian's eyes.
His golden eyes sparkled with laughter, and he chuckled. "It's no easy task, but it's quite fun. Come on, I'll show you." With that, Baron turned and started towards his den where the rest of the wolves are.
"It's in the Crystal Pond..."

She nodded, turning to follow Baren to the den. Inside, all the other wolven were sleeping, obviously oblivious to the sights of the beautiful night.
"Ah.. the crystal pond...." she said.

Carefully stepping around the sleeping pack, Baron reached the edge of the hotspring. He motioned for Kiara to get in after he had slipped himself into it, enjoying the warmth.

Kiara nodded, following Baron into the warmth of the hot spring, and waited for him to lead the way unto the unknown. She faintly remembered his words. Only the immortal, re-incarnated, and dragons were allowed there.
"Well then, I'll be just fine." she mumbled.
