She sniffed the air again, taking in the scent of the coming rain, as the wind ruffled her fur. She sighed, jumping up on a higher ledge, and looking above treetops at the land she had claimed as her own.

Spirit had a very horrible life, one that she will never forget, one that she was forced to remeber forever, and to have nightmares about.
Spirit had a tragic past, a one that will haunt her forever… In her past life, she had a great family. A mother, father, and brother named Fang. Fang had silver colored fur and ice-blue eyes. When she was little, her father and mother were killed protecting Fang and her from a monster. The monster was a demonic wolf named Cort. Fang then raised Spirit on his own. Spirit and Fang grew up together, and they cared for each other deeply. Spirit always look up to Fang, and Fang did all he could to protect Spirit. They wondered and wondered and finally found a pack, where the leader took them in and raised them. They spent the rest of there lives in the pack, and Spirit and Fang care for each other never ceased. But one day that all changed… One day, the pack was in panic and fear, Cort appeared. Spirit still remembered his pitch black fur and his red eyes. He had humongous fangs, and claws that matched. He attacked the pack, spearing no mercy to his victims he harmed. The pack tried to defend and defeat Cort, but he was to strong. Fang picked up Spirit and ran as quick as he could. A black cloud appeared, and out walked Cort. Spirit still remembered his demonic dark cold voice that appeared out of his ferocious mouth. “No matter where you hide, how fast you run, I will always find you…” Fang threw Spirit and charged at the monster, and Before Spirit could do anything, Cort ferociously swiped Fang. Fang tried to stand up, but he couldn’t. With all the energy he had left, he said “I am sorry…” Spirit watched his eyes close and silence struck. She ran over to wake him up, thinking he was sleeping, but not even his gentle snores could be heard. Tears filled her eyes, and she charged toward Cort. She attacked him soo viciously and so strongly, she put her life in that attack. Cort hit the ground and vanished, and she laid on the ground, next to her brother, in eternal slumber. The gods Tor and Fernis, watched the fight, and were proud of what a sacrifice she made. The gods looked and thought if she could have got rid of Cort once, she might be able to do it again. The gods resurrected her, and let her walk the earth once more. Still to this day, she looks for Cort, and Cort looks for her. Now she is not afraid of him, but wants to attack him, but now attack him with her mother, father, and her brother by her side
Spirit walked slowly toward the new land and smelled its beautiful fresh air from rivers and streams. she wanted to walk on this land but she wanted to be known beofre she did anything. Spirit howled beautifly

Kiara's head turned towards the call of the new wolven. Another fae was asking entrance into the land. She took a deep breath, and paused, lifting her maw into the air, and howling back, telling the new wolven to come and meet her.

She eyed the fae slowly, then nodded. "Yes Spirit, you may stay on this land if you so desire." she said. "I am alphess Kiara."

"Yes, the land here is beautiful, isn't it? I was lucky to be able to claim such a land." she blinked at the fae's question. "And no, I don't need anything, but thank you very much for your offer."

Baron sighed; this was infuriating. Three days he had walked this beautiful terrain and no sign of another wolf. The only time he thought he saw one was when an aurora flashed through the sky, a black wolf creating it. Growling, he caught the scent of a wolf. Female... he thought, rolling his eyes. Females were everywhere. Lifting his muzzle to the darkening sky clouded with rain, he howled, hoping to alert the female to his presense.

Kiara's head snapped around. Another wolf had come, and howled for their presence to be known. And this time, it was... "A brute." Kiara mumbled bitterly. So far she had only had faes join her pack, but now a brute was calling.
She growled slightly, but the remembered, she had to act like an alphess now. She lifted her maw up, and answered the brutes call, telling him to come to her.

Baron grinned as the female came into sight. Judging by her size, he was the larger. "I am Baron Skandrannon, m'lady," he said, surpressing a chuckle in his throat. "Where is this place, if I may ask?"
(OMG, short post!)

He eyed him, her eyes narrowing slightly, as she tryed to hide her anger towards, not just him, but to all males. "I am Kiara Adachi, and this place is my terra. Why are you here?"
Without meaning too, a small growl excaped her throught. This male was bigger than her, but he had no clue.
(Short too)

Baron's bi-colored eyes seemed to be laughing at Kiara. "Simple. I am a wanderer, in search of a place to stay." He said, flicking his blue-hued black tail behind him. Apparently, he wasn't showing any submission to this Alpha. He knew he could easily overpower her, but it wouldn't be in his nature to do so.

Kiara saw his expression, and only growled more, not even trying to surpress it this time. "Show some respect!" she snapped at the brute, obviously not afraid of the fact he was bigger than her. "Here, I rule, so ACT LIKE IT." the anger seemed to flare in her eyes.

"No need to be agressive. I don't bite much." Baron said softly, sitting down on the wet grass. "I have a request: to join your pack. It seems to be made up of females only that could use a defender."
Baron looked up at the sky. Lightning. No sign of a break in the clouds.

Kiara forced herself to calm down a little. "Yes, it is all females so far." she said, then took a deep breath. "I supposed you could be useful as a protector... Baron, was it?"she paused. "Anyway, I, as the alphena, grant you entrance into the pack."
She narrowed her eyes again. "But you must show me respect." She said bitterly. "You may be stronger than me, but you don't have any idea of my power."

A black wolf walked through the woods, the dark shadows hiding her from any preditors. The fea sniffed the air, checking for any scents she didn't know, there were many, though all of them had the stench of wolf in them. Obviously, there had been many wolves here in the past fue hours. She dropped her maw and looked around, her black eyes scanned the scene before her. Nothing was wrong with what she saw, but she still felt a bit of uneasieness in her gut.
She looked up, the moon shown brightly in the sky, stars surrounded it, glittering above the treetops. She loved the dark, mainly becaude she blended in with it so well and could get a good days hunting wtih her discise, but also it his her from bears, and other wolves that were eather bigger than her or caused her to think they were a threat.
The wolf sniffed the air again, this time smelling a stronger scent, she had gone itno another wolves teritory, she howled asking for entry, then sat. She looked through the dark again, waiting for an answer, she wondered if they would exept her into there terra. She had traveled a long way and needed to rest, for she had been banned from her pack. Why? You would be very lucky to know.
The fea's tail swished back and forth, she had very little patiants, and right now it was running low. What was this wolves name? Sahara.

"Oh? No idea of your power? Perhaps, my size also betrays my own power." He grinned, his eyes sparkling. "Yes, my name's Baron. Respect inflates one's ego. It must be gained." He said, closing his eyes and listening to the rain. "I learned through humility."

Sahara sniffed the air, the wonderful smell of rain reatched her nose, she felt droplets of water hit her black pelt and she shivered, feeling its wet coldness seep into her pelt. She loved rain, though right now, she wasn't enjoying it as much as she nomally would.
She waited listening hard to hear the hole to permit her entry into the terra.

Kiara sighed. "...Fair enough." she said to the brute. "If I must earn your respect, so be it." she pointed her nose, as her fur began to get wet from the rain. "There are dens to the west, if you wish to rest there." she told him, turning around, and walking away. "Good day."

Smiling to himself, Baron turned towards the border of the territory, catching the scent of a deer. He licked his lips and lowered himself to the ground, awaiting the time to pounce. Oblivious to the wolf stalking him, the young buck continued to eat the cool, tender grass moistened by the rain.
Baron unsheathed his claws and pounced with a loud bark to stun the deer briefly with the sudden loud noise.
