Perfection. That was the first word that came to mind when you looked at the purely blissful expression on Marius's face. Of course, all thoughts of concern for his brother had fled his mind. Just spending time watching Kaamier and hunting for her, and doing all those good mate things made him utterly happy that the issues of his sibling had fled him. Really, trying to satisfy one person left Loki hanging. For all he knew, Loki could be jumping off a cliff as he spoke.
(Unfortunately for you all, Loki is too smart to kill himself because I'm cool like that.) He yawned and relaxed on his side, eyes drifting half closed. A lazy summer day. But a perfect one.

Kaamier sighed and dabbed her paw in the cool crystal water. The pups would be coming any day now, and she was ecstatic. Euphoric to be more precise. Her blue eyes closed as she was lost in thought, dreaming about her mate and pups. When would she have them? What would they look like? She sighed once more and rose from her position with some difficulty. She was heavily pregnant, and one could see she was due this week.
She found a soft nest in the grass and curled up, flicking her poisonous tail around her head.

Marius decided to go talk to Kaamier. Rising to his paws and padding over, smiling, he lay down beside her, giving her a lick on the cheek. "Kaamier...you feel them squirming in there" he asked eagerly, nosing her belly a little roughly. He was still pretty big and didn't think how tender a swollen stomech might be on such a small wolf.

Kaamier nodded sleepily, yawning slightly. "They wake me up in the middle of the night," she said, mock glaring at her belly. "I wish they would just come already. Ow." She winced as a bump became visible. "I think one of them heard me," she said, trying to ignore the kicks.

Marius just smiled at the little bump. He couldn't wait for them. He often wondered what they would look like. Would a girl be as pretty as her mother? Would a boy be as playful as his uncle Loki? He couldn't wait to see.

A powerful ripple went across Kaamier's midsection and she winced. "Just as I was going to enjoy my nap... they decided to come Mary." She said, grinning at him. "Thanks to my mer-wolf traits, I won't feel pain."
She lay her head down, and awaited the time to force the first pup out.

Marius blinked. He quickly leapt away. He wasn't sure if he wanted to witness them. Female wolves were usually very agressive during a birth. But he wasn't sure about merwolves. However, just the same, he put a good amount of distance between them and settled down for the wait of the birth.

Kaamier just laughed. "Marius, you can come closer. I don't bite." She pushed just enough so that the first one came out, and it looked just like it's father. "There's one, and another on the way Mary."

Marius crept forth, his head low, blue eyes wide as he watched for another pup to come to join it's sibling beside thier mothers belly. His ears were pinned back, curious yet still nervous.

The second came out, accompanied by Kaamier's sudden shout. "She has my mother's fur!" She smiled, her eyes glazing over. Sure enough, the pup was pure white, with her mother's purple eyes with blue swirls. Kaamier began licking the two pups clean, her heart swelling with pride. Two beautiful children, she thought. Life couldn't be any better.
"We need names..."

Marius smiled down at the two little pups. One was brown, like him. The other was white. He nuzzled the youngest lump. "This one. Looks like a Aeternatis to me." he said, looking fondly down at his new daughter. His burning blue eyes drifted towards the other, whom was already scraping at his mothers belly for food.

"Hm... Aeternatis.... Wonderful name. How about... Incognito for this one here?" Kaamier nudged him towards her belly to feed as she had done with Aera. (xD)
"We need to tell Loki about this Mary," she said, gently poking at his chest with her claws.

"That's a wonderful name" he said, smiling down at little Incognito as he scrambled and soon began his meal, tiny claws gripping eagerly at his mothers fur.
Mary was suprised. He'd totally forgotton about his brother. "Acually, I have no idea where he is. Haven't seen him since he and your cousin let that one time. I wonder where they went." He shook his head, puzzled by this notion. "I hope they come back soon though. Loki will be off the walls in excitement" His eyes twinkled just like his siblings when Loki got a hankering for mischief.

Kaamier nodded, and gently poked Aera. No reponse, save for the sleepy growl. The pup was curled against her mother, between Coggy and her forepaws. "Call him. And Aurae. My howl is too high to be heard love."

"I'll try" Marius said. He rose to his paws, tipping his maw to the sky. He inhaled deeply, and let out a spectacular cry. It echoed loudly before fading. He paused. No response. Sighing a sitting down he looked at the pups.
That's when he head it. It was higher pitched than his own, but still masculine. He smiled. "He's nearby. I think he's coming. Don't know about your cousin though."
Loki had heard his brother call to him. It took him awhile to register that because he'd been dozing far from the border of the territory. Running swiftly he weaved through the trees. After 5 minutes he finally got into the clearing. He froze at the sight of the two. No, four. Two newborn pups nestled besides Kaamier. He seemed to be dumbstruck at the sight.

Kaamier just laughed at the look on his face, causing Eterna to growl in annoyance. She looked up at her father, then at her uncle, glaring at them. One of them made her mother laugh and disturb her little nap.

Loki instintly lunged forward, skidding before Kaamier to peer down at the little pups. His tial thumbed the ground with an intense madness. "What are thier names? When were they born? When will they be old enough to play?" he asked in a rush, grinning so broadly it was as if they were his own and not his own brothers.

"This one," Kaamier nudged the little white on close to her belly, who whined in response. "Is Aeternatis. And the one that's stuffing himself is Incognito. They were born just a few minutes ago, but apparently can move well. Being able to play soon depends on their mood."

"That is so tottally awesome" Loki said, sounding like a child himself. His tail wagged madly, jumping up and down merrily. Marius laughed at his brother, the silly pup. Incognito soon has finished. He rolled over onto his sister, yawning in satisfaction, eyes closed and soon dozing off.

Kaamier rolled her eyes and focused her attention on the beating of wings overhead and the sudden aurora in the peaceful night sky. She was glad it was summer, or the pups would freeze.
Eterna screamed as her now fat brother rolled on top of her.
