"Its because it marks as what we call a Demon. Powers are often feared among wolves, although some welcome it. I met your ego. She was much ruder than you, if you'll forgive me for saying." he said, smiling a mysterious smile.

Kaamier rolled her eyes and nodded. "By far. What's a demon?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, her eyes inquisitive.

"A demon is someone labeled with extrodinary powers that are believed to be used for evil deeds. However, there are many demons who are misjudged and shunned although they mean no darkness upon anyone. Such as I. But. There are some who are really, truely devils in thier heart and mean to be creul." Marius sighed. "One reason why I'm not in a pack yet is this sort of label. I'm sure if you ventured ashore you'd find the same thing out. It's terrible injustice. But really, I'm glad that you didn't know of this. For I find your company most pleasurable, I must admit." A twinkled entered his eye, hinting at the mischief his brother always had been fabeled for.

Kaamier rolled her eyes at his remark. "This is my first week away from the ocean, and I really miss it there. It was so quiet; seeing colorful fish swim about, the coral, the peacefulness of the open sea...." She trailed off, a homesick look in her violet eyes. "The only place left in the world that's not contaminated by humans is the deep sea, and despite it's darkness, is rather beautiful if you have a little light. It's completely devoid of chemicals, save for the underwater volcanoes." She lifted her tail out of the water and pointed at the little blue dots lining it. "Those are my lights. I use them in the dark, obviously."
Kaamier stepped out of the pool, and sighed contentedly. "My alter ego only comes out in the light. Sunlight, I mean. I need the Sunwolf to get her in my mind again, as strange as it sounds." Abruptly, she flopped onto her back and stared at the stars, seemingly counting the constellations.

"I've never been to the sea, in all my travels. I myself am not very good with water. But, when it comes to cold climates, I can go through most any blizzerd so long as the snow is not too deep." he said, almost bragging about it. For, indeed, Timber wolves were normally very large, usually bigger than most wolves. Thier pelts were thick, like the Artic wolf, able to stand cold nights in winter. Of course, Marius could delve much deeper into chills than most. Due to certain...circumstances.

(Crap!! Everytime I leave, something happens and i'm not around!! STOP ROLE PLAYING SO MUCH!!)
Loushon looked up. A howl, but two undetected sents. She swiftly made her way to the wolves. She saw two wolves, looking to be a male and a fea, but not mates. Was one a demon? She looked to be, but she had never seen a demon wolf with fins. The other one didn't seem to be that demonic, but rater strong. She showed herself from the shadows. "How are you? And what are you doing on my land?" She remembered the howl, thinking that the male infact, did call for entrance... Maybe the female was infact with him...

(Lol XD)
Marius swiveled to see an approaching wolf, whom looked remarkabley like a fox. He stood and powered his head in respect. "You must be the Alphess, m'lady. My name is Marius." He glanced at the merwolf, hoping that she would not be frightened away due to the sudden arrival of the Alphena. The last of her kind. He felt quite lucky to be able to talk to one. "I come looking for a residence. I'm not sure about m'lady here, though." The male knew that Kaamier would probly not be looking for a home. She talked so wistfully of this 'sea' that she probly wanted to return to it.

Loushon looked at the wolf and smiled. Oh, like herself, Loushon missed the seas so much. Nodded her head, "Ay, I am Alphena." She said, her pirate voice finally returning to her. "But you can simply call me Capt'n Lou." She grinned, holding her head high like the Pirate Wolf she was, "Loushon, Queen of the Sea and Lover of Fire. A home be here for yer, Marius. As for you, lady sea wolf." She nodded warmly.

"The sea isn't much for me, captian" said Marius, obviously very amused with how Loushon talked. He, being very literate, found her fratured words laughable. Of course, Marius knew nothing of the sea or those who lived upon it. So he had no idea if this was natural or just some trendy new style. "I like it when it's cold." He narrowed his eyes and smiled mysteriously once more.

Kaamier glared at her. "You are not 'Queen of the Sea," Loushon. My mother was." She spat, enraged. How dare she use her mother's title! Her tail swished angrily behind her, her spines raising threateningly. "The new queen is Orqua, the whale."

Marius was totally confused. As said, he had no knowledge of the sea. He didn't know what a whale is or that Loushon had misused such a title. His brow furrowed and he galnced between the two she-wolves. He didn't want his new friend and Alphess in an arguement, for it would put him in a very uncomfertable situation. He'd heard of the ocean and it was a large body of water that stretched farther than the eye could see. But he never thought anyone could rule water before. Marius may of known more of land than Kaamier, but she certainly knew more of water than him.

Dipping herself in the pool, Kaamier narrowed her eyes and sniffed the air. It had a somewhat salty tang to it. "I will take my leave, alphess, land wolf. Goodbye Marius." She stalked off, moonlight shining off her back giving the mer-wolf an angelic glow. She felt somewhat reluctant to leave him, but... she sighed, not turning back. He could stay if he wanted; she didn't care, or did she...
Kaamier stopped and closed her eyes to sniff the air. Water. Rock. A tunnel was under her paws, leading to the ocean.

Marius's tail drooped a little further, disappointed in this sudden disappearence. He had a feeling is he let Kaamier leave to the ocean she'd not be coming back to see him here. He didn't like that idea of one of the last merwolf never being seen again by the wolven of the land. It just didn't seem right that the wolves should thrive well while those beneath the waves should perish. Perhaps they saw a beauty Marius could never imagine. Perhaps they had no need for company. But maybe those of land had a secret need for thiers.

Kaamier began to dig, albeit furiously. Her claws touched rock, and a satisfied grin danced on her face. She heard the sound of rushing water, and the sharp tang of salt... Immediatly, she dug her claws into the rock, and amazingly, tore a large hole in it. She laughed happily as salt water squirted out, drenching the already wet wolf. She turned to Marius, a sad look in her eyes. "Do you... want to see the ocean? I'll bring you back here... but I'll leave for Shannadoa. The water tells me the Sunwolf is there.."

Marius hesitated, glancing at Loushon. His heart told him he should go. His instints told him he should stay. His mind was just plain confused. However, he nodded slowly. Glancing at Loushon he murmered "Don't miss me too much." Just the kind of smart alack comment his sister, Malice, might of made. A twinge of sadness came and went at her memory. But now he was going on an adventure.
"I'd like to see the sea. I've heard much about it, but I've never seen it." he said quietly.

Kaamier nodded, suddenly taking his neck scruff in her jaws. It was tight, but gentle; as if she wanted to hold onto him. She dove into the tunnel, and the current swept them away, sped up by Kaamier's tail.
She expertly dodged large rocks with Marius in her jaws, not slowing her down one bit. At last, the end was in sight and Kaamier pulled him to the surface for a much needed breath. "I hope that wasn't too rough," she said, seeming to be much happier in salt water. "I can show you under, and around the reef. You'll be able to breathe. Hang on.." She licked his cheek, then pulled back. "There. You can breathe underwater."

Marius found himself much light in the water. He never was a good swimmer. Never had a chance to be taught. But instinct came in and he paddled in the water. A slight flush went up him when he got licked. He didn't know why. It just did. Marius felt a bit out of his game, but he went along with it, remaining aloft. He nodded. "Show me the way" he said eagerly, wanting to learn all about this sea. the water certainly didn't taste good at all, that he had just experienced.
