It had been a long while, perhaps a month, since Aby had first brought his wounded friend here. she had to be almost fully recovered, and Labyrinth was worried she might leave and return to where he'd found her, or they'd find them and take the beautiful she-wolf away from him.
He kept himself a secret, but was always very kind to Aura. Always.
Today, he was wandering about, glancing at the dragon-wolf now and then, when something caught his eye. A shuffling black form, approaching him. He felt paniced, wondering if it was one of the wolves from the back. Cautiously, he went to Aura, standing beside her and watching the approacher with narrowed eyes.
The first thing he noticed was the eyes. They were red, and rather entrancing. But they seemed a bit angry, as if they were extreamely onery. It took a few moments for the distant wolf to notice them. It froze, like a deer in the headlights. Then, she cautiously approached the two.
"Hello?" Aby questioned her.
"..." She was merely silent.
"Um. Hi. I'm Labyrinth. But everyone calls me Aby."
"Eris." she grunted at last.
"Oh. Hello Eris. What are y -"
He was cut off when she looked at him sharply. "You smell like something familer...sort of mystical."
He glanced at Aura, puzzled. She obviously wasn't here to take his companion away, but she didn't seem very friendly, all the same.

Shrugging, the dragoness just pressed closer to him comfortingly. "I'm Aurae. Pleasure to meet you Eris." She said, no hint of venom in her voice. She was uneasy of this female. The fangs protruding from her jaws said that. Her claws were seemingly larger, and her left wing was fanned out. Typical intimidation stance.

Eris barely glanced at Aura. She seemed to be more interested in Aby for some strange reason.
"Um. Yes. I'm a fairywolf." he said. To show her, he went into fairy form, looking more innocent than anything.
Eris did not find this display impressive however. She snorted and spit at his feet.
"Hey!" he said, brow furrowed, suprised to be given such disrespect from a total stranger. "What's your deal?!"
She remained silent, leering with unnerving intensity. Not the handsome kind, like Aby. But very harsh, violent, blazing with rage.

Aurae's fur bristled, and she snarled at the fairy-wolf. This male saved her life, and she owed him the favor. Golden pupils dialated to slits, and spines grew along her back. This fairy was bringing out the beast within, and if it managed to get out....
Something would die.

The she-wolf suddenly burst into fairywings, antenna sprouting from above her eyes, exposing razor thin fangs with need points. She growled viciously, creeping towards Aby.
Aby yelped and sprang away, his eyes wide and fearful. "BLACKFAIRY?!" he shouted in terror and confusion. The worst nightmare of any fairy.
The word sent a ripple through Eris's body and her eyes flashed, fading into a gum pinkish color. "Noooooooooo....leave me alone" she groaned suddenly.
"Kill him" she whispered to herself, in the spitting angry voice.
"Why?" questioned Pink-eyed Eris.
"He's orange filth. Thinks he's better than me. That because I was born black I should never have a home and be chased away."
The memory flashed before Aby again. The black wolf, slinking towards them, speaking in the harsh voice. But all of the sudden, he remembered all the wolves biting at her heels, driving her away. A shudder went through him again. So this was the result of the fairys pre-justice. A half-mad fairy.
"But he's a grey. Yuo've got nothing against him" coaxed the gentle side.
"HA! He's a former orange. You know, the whole 'noble' color. He probly couldn't stand a day in my head."
"Nooooooooo" the kind voice growned.
And then, her eyes quickly leapt to the blood red color. And she lungeds for Aby. The two wolves collided. Labyrinth had not been expecting the attack, and feel back. Because of a sort of slope, the two tumbled downhill, a ball of snarls and cries of pain as thier teeth locked, Eriss extra teeth providing sharp pain as they dug into the side of his neck, his hind claws kicking at her belly or scrambling for a purchase to stop the mad roll.

A roar and a sudden beating of wings sounded over the once calm meadow. A harsh scrabbling of rock against claws announced the presence of something. Something large. A black tail wrapped around Labyrinth and large claws around Eris, prying them off each other.

Aby instintly relaxed in the large black tail of what he knew to be Aura. Eris, however, was still in a frenzy. She twisted he body crazily and bit uselessly at the scales that must of been rock hard, thinking in a panic that maybe her extraordinary teeth could slice through unlike normal fangs. However, it was useless. She probly didn't even make a scratch. Her wings had naturally disappeared once they felt something pressing on them, by instint. Otherwise, they would of been crushed in the purchase of Aura.

The tail uncoiled from Aby, before it started lashing in a threatening mannor. Aurae released her grip on Eris before standing over her male companion protectively. Her neck was lowered and her fangs were exposed in a typical dragon posture; intimidation. With wings widespread, she growled.
"Mine."
(omg.... xDD)

Eris sneered at the dragon wolf, but even through her insanity it was plain that it would be foolish to fight two on one, espically with the scaled beast standing over the enemy protectively. So she laid a warning before turning and fleeing.
"Death will haunt you, fairy that shuns. Watch your back, or I'll be chewing on it."
Then, snarling, she turned and fled, using her rapidly beating wings to give increased speed.
Labyrinth stared after her, before looking at Aura, and smiling shakily.
"Yours?" he questioned, his brow rising.

Aurae grinned sheepishly and nodded. "Sorry. Protection." she said, her once silver voice gruff. Must have become like that during her transformation.

"It's fine. Saved my hide" he said, beaming happily, and wagging his thick tail. Aby had always been captured by the she-wolfs beauty, and was quite delighted to see that she had come to his aid and was concerned about his well being. Then again, didn't she somewhat 'owe' him for his needless act of charity by helping her heal to full health?

"Well, when a female dragons claims something, she defends it with her life." She folded her black membranous wings neatly on her back, and tucked her paws beneathe her in a cat-like fashion, purring slightly. She lowered her great head to Labyrinth's eye level, and growled. "Do you want to fly with me?"

"Well, I'm kind of broken winged" he said gentley. And then he realized what she meant. Aby could not fly anymore. At least, not on his own. But he could be taken along for the ride. He beamed. "But sure." Gingerly, he leapt aboard the large dragon, standing precariously for a few moments before her carefully lowered himself to a laying position, his large claws tensed and ready to brace himself if it should be necissary on a swift take off.

Aurae closed her eyes contentedly before snapping them open and jumping off the cliff. Her wings didn't spread until the two were atleast two feet away from being killed on the sharp rocks.
It seemed she wouldn't be able to take flight at this level, but once again she defied gravity and caught a non-existant updraft, taking them soaring close to the clouds.
